Prakat Solutions Inc., in association with Mitra Jyothi has been hosting Global Accessibility Awareness Day since 2015.

This year we plan to host Global Accessibility Awareness Day slightly in a different way with aim to create platforms for diverse set of audience including developer and quality assurance community, decision makers, disability activists, etc.,

In 2018, Global Accessibility Awareness Day will be held on 17th May, 2018 and we will be hosting following events:

May 14-16, 2018 – GAAD for Geeks

This will be an opportunity for developers and those involved in Quality assurance to come and experience world of digital accessibility. You will be amazed to see the impact of accessibility and how much joy would you gain while building accessible products.

17th May 2018 – GAAD Round Table (By invitation only)

This will be a round table event discussing business case of accessibility and help you start your accessibility journey. There will also be short presentations by companies who have successfully adopted accessibility.

10th May 2018 1600 Hrs – GAAD for Disability organisations and People with Disabilities

Disability organizations play a critical role to raise awareness about accessibility and enable world to build better products for people with disabilities. People with disabilities play a critical role to share feedback on how products are working for them. This event is all of those associated with disability organizations and people with disabilities.

Are you a student aspiring to build digital products in the future or interest to build an unique career? So GAAD competition is for you! We have put together an unique competition that gives you taste of digital accessibility.

GAAD Celebration – 17th May, 2018

We are planning to celebrate this evening with a lot of fun, recognizing those who have contributed to the area of accessibility and of course networking.
